ABOUT THE DORSEE COMPANY

The Dorsee Company founded in October 2003 by Debbie Dorsee, established a strong presence in the Greater San Diego area as a forerunner in public and private relations with a distinct emphasis on community relations. Dorsee was commissioned by the Building Industry Association to produce the well known Tour d’ Elegance Luxury Home Tour that attracted over 65,000 attendees to Cielo in 2001 in Rancho Santa Fe and again to East Lake in 2003 in Chula Vista. The success of these events prompted Dorsee to pursue her natural penchant for promotional work.

Dorsee's childhood revolved around an environment perpetuated by political campaigns, social events, and promotional fundraising which allowed her the opportunity to establish personal and professional contacts. With the guidance of family members already in small business, Dorsee obtained a behind-the-scenes knowledge of the significance of personal communication, exceptional diligence, and a keen attention to detail. Her organizational skills and professional sophistication have facilitated her personal, political, and philanthropic endeavors. Dorsee has worked closely with many community leaders including Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor Pete Wilson, Mayor Jerry Sanders, Congressman Brian Bilbray, Congressman Darrell Issa, Assemblyman Mark Wyland, Assemblyman George Plescia, Senator John McCain, Senator Bob Dole, Supervisor Ron Roberts, Supervisor Bill Horn, Supervisor Pam Slater, Sheriff Bill Kolender, Office of Congressman Bob Filner, Office of Barbara Boxer, Office of Juan Vargas, Office of Lori Saldana, Office of Senator Dianne Feinstein and many other local community leaders in San Diego and its surrounding cities.

The Dorsee Company consistently strives to utilize its relationships in order to promote public awareness for its clients. Debbie Dorsee has dedicated herself to providing her clients with uniquely personalized services. Reputed for her success in business and real estate development in and around San Diego, Dorsee infuses essential community relations into each of her projects.

After the devastating firestorms of October, 2003, Debbie Dorsee was spotlighted in the media for her work with key community connections and assisting Stonefield Development to rebuild 81 homes in Scripps Ranch. As a result, Stonefield’s rebuilding efforts are now seen as a national blueprint for rebuilding in disaster areas. In recent months she has spent considerable time with the community recovery and rebuilding efforts of the Angora Fire Survivors, in South Lake Tahoe.
